On the last day of Miksang workshop level 2, our field of perception was to be people. That is more complicated than objects as it involves the meeting of two minds. You have to wait until the other person drops his/her shields, wait for the right moment. We practiced this with people from our own group and not on the streets. You know each other so it's easier to come close and to make contact.
