From the archives: Beautiful Istanbul

Arabic
I was going through my hard drives last night because a colleague asked me yesterday if I had any photographs of muslims or the islam for a leaflet they need to make this week. Ehm well, most muslims don't like their picture taken but a couple of years ago I went to Istanbul on a citytrip with some friends and we visited a few mosques and of course the Topkapi palace. Maybe there were some suitable images in between all the holiday shots.

So last night I spent at the computer going through my archives looking for images of Istanbul. I found them in the directory of 2009! Isn't time flying?

The advantage of this was that I was enjoying and appreciating the beauty of this city again. And although I don't recall exactly where all of these images were taken, I do remember the relaxing atmosphere of the city and the friendliness of the people. Most people we met even spoke a few words of Dutch.
 Please enjoy the images.
