This is the first smoothie that I tried out of the book Plant Power by Lisette Kreischer. I actually found it under the section of Autumn, but I had beets in the fridge so I made it anyways. I doubled the portions because they looked rather small to me. I omitted the mentioned orange juice, simply because I forgot it.
Ingredients:
2 beets
2 apples
1 cm fresh ginger
1 banana
1 spoonful of hemp grains
coconut milk to liking
1 spoonful of rice syrup
I found the taste rather surprising: I've never tasted beet with coconut milk before but they go very well together.
